Did you ever treasure hunt as a child? Do you share the Victorians interest with the dead?  Are you running out of unique ideas for that special party?

 

 

In accordance with the Egyptian Revival of the 1860's you can now throw a mummy unrolling party for those who share your interests.  We have an incredibly detailed, fully stocked and carefully recreated mummy for exactly that occasion.  It lacks only two things to make it an exact recreation of the Victorian Experience of a mummy unrolling:  It's smaller than life size (about 2 ½ feet) and its not an actually embalmed human  (which is hard to get a permit for, anyway). 

An embarrassing number of hours went into research to be as accurate as possible, and clues are provided with which one may ascertain the gender, social station, name and era in which the 'corpse' was embalmed.

 

This item is one of a kind and priced accordingly.  Wrapped or unwrapped, the mummy is highly realistic and is finished for display.
